WaterStep’s trainer and operator in Puerto Rico Cindy Figueroa trained a team of volunteers last week. A huge shipment including 56 of our disaster response kits arrived in-country on December 2nd, and some have already been distributed to people serving communities that need safe water. In addition, the bleach makers will provide large quantities of disinfectant for several medical facilities on the island. Big thank you to our friends at GE Appliances – Puerto Rico for providing storage and transportation for the equipment. We are so proud and thankful for this hope and hard work coming together and saving lives with safe water!
