Steps for Safe Water 5K
On Sept. 20th, 2025, join us for WaterStep’s inaugural Steps for Safe Water 5K fundraiser at Lynn Family Stadium.
Participants can sign-up for the STEPS FOR SAFE WATER 5k HERE.
This event falls under WaterStep’s“The Greatest Game vs The Greatest Crisis” campaign, an initiative to leverage the game of soccer to transform lives around the world, and we are honored to host attendants at the home of LouCity and Racing Louisville.
Hosted by WaterStep’s Teen Board, The Steps for Safe Water 5K is a fun run, or walk, to show solidarity with those who struggle to access safe water worldwide. Globally, people often travel more than 3 miles to access water, and usually, it still isn’t safe to drink. Women and children are disproportionately affected by the challenges this poses by creating risks of abuse, barriers to education and thwarting upward mobility.
Parking at the event will be in the purple lot at Lynn Family Stadium and packet pick-up will begin at 6:30 AM.
