Thank you for making #GivingTuesday great!

Thank you to everyone who helped make #GivingTuesday a success! With matching dollars, we raised over $14,000 for safe water projects around the world.  These funds will support projects in water purification, health education, and well repair, providing safe water to the people that need it the most. If you didn't get a chance the day of #GivingTuesday, there's still time to make a donation.

Give to safe water

#GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back.

We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now there's a day to celebrate generosity that encourages bigger, better, and smarter charitable giving during the holiday season, showing that the world gives as good as it gets. Give to safe water for #Giving Tuesday and you'll help someone get safe water that needs it.

And there's never been a better time to give than now! Make a gift this holiday season before December 31 and your gift for safe water will be doubled up to $100,000 by an anonymous donor's matching fund. You can help provide safe water to someone that needs it - we can't do this without you!

Your gift will support water projects around the world from India to Mexico. Here are some examples of what happens when you give to WaterStep:

Chlorination Systems

Health Education

Water Transportation

Well Repair

Students learn about hand washing procedures and proper disposal of waste at school. Children tell parents and cases of diarrhea decrease.

A teacher is trained to operate a water purifier at the school. Students now have access to safe water during the day, encouraging attendance.

A woman can carry twice as much water with less bodily harm using a water transportation tool like the WaterBall. This means she can spend less time collecting water.

An open well is converted to a closed system that prevents contamination. Well repairmen maintain the well and make any needed repairs.
